sleeping beauty turquoise is known for the solid blue color, the most valuable stones will also have no matrix or discolorations.  . 
the stone received its name from the mountains around the mine in Arizona, which are shaped like a sleeping woman. 
this mine closed in 2012; it didn't close due to a lack of turquoise. This mine produced both turquoise and copper, & the new owner chose to focus on copper mining instead.
